How do I buy an original painting or Giclee print from BuyGalleryArt.com?

Please contact the artist, Joel Langton via the Contact Us page of the website, describing which piece of art you are interested in purchasing.

What methods of payment are available?

Credit or Debit card payment via PayPal, UK cheque or postal order.

Who is PayPal, is it safe?

Paypal is a secure online payment website that facilitates the purchase of items using a Credit or Debit Card. PayPal is a very safe, very popular online payment option.

Who do I make cheques payable to?

Cheques should be made payable to Joel Langton. We only accept UK cheques in Pounds sterling. Your item will be posted after your cheque has cleared.

How much will shipping cost?

Shipping costs vary depending on the format of the painting (i.e. block canvas paintings cost more to post than rolled canvas), the size of the painting, and whether it is framed. Please contact us with your requirements and we will give you a quote.

How long will shipping take for original hand painted art?

We will start processing your purchase immediately and aim to have it shipped to you as quickly as possible, keeping you up to date along the way. Maximum delivery will be 28 days within the UK mainland, although we aim for your painting to reach you much sooner. Usually within a few days.

For customers from countries outside the UK, please contact us for a shipping quote which will detail the estimated delivery time.

Please contact us if you need an item by a specific date and we will aim to achieve this, e.g. if the item is a gift.

Giclee prints are produced to order and this can take some time. All items are packaged securely to avoid damage in transport. Maximum delivery will be 28 days within the UK mainland, although we aim for your item to reach you much sooner. Usually within a few days.

Is it possible to ship art work worldwide?

Yes, please contact us for a potage quote.

What if an item gets losts in postage or arrives damaged?

All items are carefully packaged, but are also fully insured when posted so a full refund would be made for items lost or damaged during transit. Please notify us via email, within 48 hours of the item arriving damaged. All original packaging should be kept as it may be required to process a claim.

What is your returns policy?

We offer a 14 day money back guarentee. You must notify the artist via email within 14 days of the delivery date if you require a refund. The painting must be returned in suitable packaging to ensure safe return within 21 days.
Upon reciept of the item in correct condition your refund will be processed via the same method of payment originally made, less the Postage and Packing costs.

If a commisioned painting, your refund will be processed as above minus the 50% unrefundable deposit paid.

What is a Giclee print?

The term Giclee (che-clay), is french for 'little squirt' which describes the process of high definition ink jet printing. It is widely considered to be the highest quality digital reproduction available. Giclee prints are held in the collections of many world famous Art galleries.

They cost more to produce than standard prints, but we have chosen Giclee because of their quality. In addition Giclee prints can be printed onto a wide variety of materials, including canvas. Giclee prints are also renowned for their longevity.

What materials can a Giclee print be printed on?

Giclee prints can be printed on a wide range of materials. The prints sold on this site are printed on very high quality archival paper. However, if you want your painting printed onto canvas this can be done at extra cost, depending on the size of the painting.

How many Giclee prints of each painting are made?

Our Giclee prints are limited to a maximum numbered and signed print run of 250 copies, so as to retain their exclusivity and value.

Can I request a specific size for a Giclee print?

Yes, if you want a Giclee print of a size not listed on the site you can request this and in some cases we can produce a specific sized print for you.

Do you accept commissions for a new piece of art work?

Yes I do accept commissions from the public or from corporations, please contact us with your ideas, providing as much detail as possible, and we will discuss with you your requirements and provide you with a quote.

If I purchase an original piece of art work from you, can I re-list it on your site for sale at an increased value?

Yes, you can choose how much you would be willing to sell your new acquired art work for and re-list it on this site. A small charge will be payable to us in the event of a sale. Just let us know if you are interested and we will provide you with full details.

What type of art media do you sell?
